W2k desktop, IE6 lockup
Hi,
I'm running a little W2k sp4 desktop with IE6, Kerio, AVG, Spybot, DSL.
3.2 ghz Celeron, 1gb mem, plenty disk space.

Under Windows XP Home edition with service pack 2 and all current patches
installed I have a PC that is experiencing issues when a right click is
performed on any of the shortcut icons on the desktop.  You can left click on
any ICON and there are no issues.  Applications run ...

Can anyone tell me why it would be that some web page images don't display, while others do?  The ones that don't just have a little box with an "X" in the upper left corner and this little box is in the box where the image should display.

Lately, I have been having trouble browsing with IE6. On some sites, if I go
to click a link that opens another window, the new window will open
momentarily, then close immediately thereafter! It doesn't happen on every
site (i.e. MS), but on many others. I can't seem to figure ...

I'm have a problem with one of my machine with IE 6.  If you open IE
and then click on a link that points to a page on the same server,
everything works fine.  If you click on an external link, or type an
URL into the address bar, it sends the link to the default Web Browser.

I'm suspecting some strange behaviour of my IE6 on WXP
What I find strange is that in my Task Manager I always have one
process IEXPLORE.EXE, even if no IE window is open. If I try to
terminate it from the task manager, the process is immediately

All of the popup blockers I have seen so far block only poipup windows.
Isn't there a popup blocker for IE which blocks layer ads as well ?

When using internet explorer 7.0 I get a message, "3rd party ur
launcher, Windows Internet Explorer" and many internet explorer blan

The IE always prompts me debugger when
1. my mouse over other links in the web page
2. when i tried to open PDF pop up.
Please advise.

The settings on my computer have somehow changed and when I insert a
music cd it no longer automatically opens up windows media player.
Instead I have to go over to the drive and click on it. How can I fix
this?
