Can anyone direct me to the steps for enabling the option to run Windows
Update? It is disabled on our corporate LAN and I believe it has been done in
the group policy settings.

Yesterday I installed IE7 and since then, when I use the scroll wheel on my
mouse  the screen scrolls by itself, either up or down, depending which way I
have scrolled.   This has never happened before.   Is this related to the

I have not been able to resolve this issue.  The OS is Windows XP
Professional and is up-to-date.  The problem is that the browser freezes upon
opening.  It takes about a minute after opening before the freeze occurs, but
then after 30-45 seconds the freeze is released.

ok, when i search using any search engine, and click on the links that it has
given me to go to after searching, it takes me to a different website all
together. I can search for MSN on the net and when i click on the link given,

I'd post this under the IE 7 heading, but there isn't one.
I've been running IE 7 since it first arrived - the early adopter syndrome.
For the past two weeks IE7 and/or "(not so) Live" messenger have been
exceptionally unstable. IE 6 has been solid as a rock over the same period,
