How to Change handler associated with MIME type image/tiff?28 Mar 2007 07:00 GMT2
On my system IE7 was configured to handle data of MIME type "image/tiff" or
"image/x-tiff" using the Apple QuickTime Plugin.  I turned off this
association.  Anybody know how to restore the default handler for these MIME
types?

can't find an equivalent for IE6. Is Web Accessories for IE 5 safe to use
with IE6?

I keep getting the "pop-up was blocked" response, preventing me from using an
online application I want.  I've added the site to my trusted lists, and I've

weird problem.  you can usually enter xyz.com into your browser and it
will render the page, but we have one browser in the building that you
MUST enter http:// before the web address or it doesn't work.

The problem I was having was installing Critical Updates on a computer
running XP SP2.  
Going back farther, the automatic updates were failing every time I tried to

1. Somehow IE6 has started opening all hyperlinks in small minimized windows
instead of full screen.  I've looked everywhere for the solution but I'm
perplexed.
2. When I try to go to System Restore I get a long error message instead of

IE used to provide a dialog box asking whether I want Windows to remember my
password to certain sites, but it no longer does (at least not for the sites
I'm interested in). I may have accidentally checked a box that says "don't
ask again". Can I restore this feature?
