IE explorer closes on me after SP2 on XP16 May 2007 22:14 GMT2
I have a fresh new XP installation on my notebook (only Office 2000
and AutoCad LT installed). The problem is that after installed the SP2
for XP every time I start my internet explorer there are certain pages
that will just close the program on me without prompt ! With simple

IE keeps freezes up on me 8-10 times a day. Have to close it out and then
reopen. Is there a listing of items I can check to see what might be causing
this? It doesn't appear to have any one connecting cause, but then again I'm
not sure exactly what things to look for.  TIA.

Occasionally I am visiting web pages which contain multimedia components
like banner ads and embedded audio which send some annoying sounds and voices to my audio boxes.
I don't want to listen to them. How can I turn off ALL sound from InternetExplorer ?

When i receive an email in my outlook express that has a URL and i click on
it, it will not open internet explorer6 the only way for me to get to the URL
is to copy and paste it into explorer. Does anyone know how to fix this?

we are running ie version 6.  i renamed iexplore.exe to iexplore2.exe, and
when i run it, it says, "This is being run in compatibility mode and not
all features are enabled."  what features are disabled?

A friend of mine is using IE6. When she clicks Favorites, and then right
clicks on the name of a favorite in the list that drops down, there is
no Sort option in the menu that appears. Why isn't it there? I'd
appreciate any suggestions.

When I visit the Cox webmail page and log in, IE won't ask me if I want to
save the password anymore (it used to). It has not asked me and I answered
no, it's just never asked. How can I force it to save the password?

Somehow I've fouled up my IE6 so that when I open a new window it's
minimized.  I've searched everywhere for the solution, but it's obviously
somewhere beyond my abilities.  Can somebody tell me how to fix this
annoying problem?

Internet explorer froze while on the Internet about a month ago. I was unable
to exit IE.  I checked the task manager and iexplore.exe was using 50% of the
total CPU. I have two processors listed in the task manager so, iexplore.exe
uses one processor completely.  I could not ...

Hi...
Over the past few nights something has been making very loud noises in the
woods behind my northeastern Texas house, mostly while I'm trying to sleep!
And it goes on for hours.
