My daughter keeps getting the error msg: the page cannot be displayed you may need to adjust your browser settings.... She use XP with IE 6.0, is there a fix for this error msg?

Certain sites (like www.lnt.com), come up in my browser as "Page cannot be displayed". If I type the IP address of the website, the site DOES load. On a different computer the page loads by the domain name too so I know it's not the website's DNS. Any ideas?

Suddenly, the IE6 browser has forgotten all links that have been visited - they appear as »not visited«, but they have been visited recently. The system has a history duration of many weeks and the history has not been cleared intentionally.

To those who have been getting IE script erros with WMP 11, like I have been, I found on MS web site about a down load for windows script 5.6 for xp or 2000. I was able to fix my problem by down loading this fix.

I previously told IE6 not to save my password for a particular site. Now I've changed my mind and I do want it to save the password for this site. Is there any way to accomplish this without erasing *all* my saved passwords? Jon
