Certain unicode characters aren't being displayed in IE7, regardless of the
encoding used on the page. I don't know the technical name for the
characters, one resembles an upside down A, there are symbols like stars,
hearts etc. A good example is this page -

I'm trying to implement an internet switching tool, our Proxy servers are
FQDN's in our DNS server.
To disable the internet for a suite of PCs (who use a particular proxy), we
are changing the DNS IP to something invalid.

After some navigation in specific sites, I get "page cannot be found"
error.
The same page is accessible, if I try reopening it in a new browser.
I removed all the cookies, temporary files also. Still the same

I have a Mandarin website that works perfectly in IE6, but in IE 7, the
Mandarin characters show up as boxes in Select boxes. The Mandarin characters
show up fine everywhere else.
Has anybody seen anything similar, know of a way around this? Any

one, but the 4th was impossible. I want 5. It sure looks like a stupid error

We have a strange issue:
Users are occasionally being prompted for their domain login while trying to
access intranet sites that use Integrated Authentication. This isn't
consistent, as some days it will happen and other days it won't.
