Not really an IE question, but seems to be alot of knowledge here.
we have 20 new PCs being setup in a conference room.  We have only 5
jacks in the room wired to our ethernet switch in the wiring closet.
The powers that be want to just buy a 24 port switch, plug the new PCs

Does anyone know that why there is a sudden Windows Messenger link in my
Internet Explorer 6 Tools menu.
I have not installed Windows Messenger in that machine.  Does it related to
Windows XP SP3 or hotfix?

I have a system I just reloaded xp home to. Now when I open IE msn it saids
in the log in/ log out area, log out. When I click on it, the page reopens

When i do a search in google i get a popup error window titled 'Microsoft
Internet Explorer' with a black exclamation mark in a yellow triangle and the
word 'object Error'. It only happens when i search google.
I've searched everywhere and found no other mention of it.

It seems you can't see things on webpage's unless you enable the pop up's
either permanently or temporarily.  It's gotten so almost every page wants
you to do this.  Is there any way around it or do we just give up and turn
on enable pop up's?

I have had to get rid of a lot of spyware and viruses on a friends computer.
Since doing so I cannot get internet explorer to connect.
On the blue bar on top of the sceen it says Blocked internet explorer.
I can connect to the internet for antivirus updates but the browser stays

I saved my Outlook folders as *.pst files using the export feature.  Now when
I attempt to import them I get a message saying I don't have permission to
access them.  How do I get around this?  I tried to modify the properties but
it won't let me do that either.

I have IE6 with XP Pro SP3.  Over the last few days IE has become slow and
