I have defined my home page to a specific site, but
whenever I shut the computer and restart it, the home page
reverts to C:\Windows\hp.htm. If I reenter the home page I
want, it will function as I long as I don't shut the

any known issues with cookies in ie 5, or for that matter, any version lower

i have an application that uses cookies and works ok in ie6 but cookies are

With IE I have slow response when filling in information
in forms, and extremely sluggish scrolling on some web
sites while scrolling is smooth and immediate on others.

  In the Internet explorer options under the content tab -
Autocomplete the forms, user names and passwords on
forms, and Prompt me to save passwords options are grayed
out/disabled.

An interesting problem which I have not seen before. Upon
trying to enter a secure area on IE6 no source is
downloaded and therefore no webpage. All the scurity
settings have been set to low to try to work round this.

I have been receiving the following error message every
time I attempt to get on:

Using IE to access the web using http:// returns the
error "The page cannot be displayed".  Using IE with
ftp:// and file"// is successful; and Symantec LiveUpdate

have tried everything to remove it:  Window Washer, Spy
