Thanks for everyones help but my problem is still not

I attempted to remove the IE version that was preinstalled on my laptop
(using Windows XP).
This IE version did not come (as far as I know w/ the Java Virtual Machine).

Other day just surfing the web, noticed the browser slowing down, then
luckily the system started complaining about a bad entry point on a DLL,
that DLL was in

When I'm on the internet, I can't access most sites
because the message pops up that lexplore has caused an
error in MSHTML.DLL and then I have to shut it down. If
any one knows how to fix this or why it's happening please
