Is it possible to create a tiled background from a seamless tile, then
superimpose a translucent gradient so that the background was say, red on
the top of the image/page and green on the bottom?

viewing stationery with asf/wma sound, I hear two sound files playing at

I modified the background gif file to make an e mail based upon that web
page.
Then made e mail message using stationary based upon the modified file.
