I was trying to customize the view in Outlook 5.0 and
receieved a "performed illegal operation error" message.  
Now I can not even open that identity and can not access
my emails and address book from that identity.  I tryed to

I'm unable to connect to my POP3 Server with the DNS name or the IP address.
I'm able to browse web pages and ping just fine. I don't have any firewalls
or anything that would prevent a connection; just plain old Windows 98 and
Outlook Express 5 with a dial-up connection.

I have some files kept as archives made from the Folders in the left pane.
But they are in a format that cannot be edited. Neither can I get the curser
on them to compose replies. How can I do that?

I just recently started getting this subject error message whenever I try to
send an email, not EVERY time, but 'way too often......and it won't send my
email until I close IE5..........using Win98SE, 1.8Ghz AMD chip and 512MEG
