Can I back up OE files from DOS13 Jul 2003 18:26 GMT1
I am running OE 5.5 in Win2kPro on a dual boot 98se/2000 system. I cannot
start 2000 but do have access to the drives through both 98 and DOS. I donot
use my email through 98. Can I save my OE files, messages and addresses,
from either DOS or 98? If so, how?

Newsgroups allow downloading just headers.  Why doesn't the email Inbox work
the same way?  If someone has sent an email with a large attachement, I must
wait until it downloads before I can look at any other emails.  It should
work like Newsgroups, where the headers are downloaded, ...

Outlook express 6 does not display binaries. The attachment appears as a bunch of numbers and characters. I believe this program used to display the pictures automatically unless it was multiple parts. What has change or do I have some setting incorrect?
