Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the intray icon for incoming
mail in OE 6?  With the amount of spam I receive these days, the icon is
almost permanently visible!

1. I use hotmail with Outlook Express 5 for years but no problem.
About one month ago, I missed emails sent to me and my friends not receive
emails 20hr. after I sent them.

I have configured my outlook express to get news groups from msnews.microsoft.com. 2 days back it was working fine
now it says "Server Could not be found".
do i need to change any configurations to fix this? or have you ever encountered this error
i cant ping to this server also.

After installing the newsgroup,
in the "tools-account-" there is no more "mail" option left (only All & News
group).  I also can't compose new message.

After using my Outlook Express program without problems
for 2 years, yesterday I discovered I was unable to
delete one of the many emails I received during the day.  
(When I click delete, nothing happens.)

When I get mail from my son it automatically goes into my Deleted Items
folder and when I do open it...it has the alert message at the top of it
saying...This message is being Ignored. How can I correct this and stop his
mail from going into my deleted items folder.

I started using Win2K.  When I try to open Outlook
Express, and window pops up reading: "Indenty Login.  
There is no current identity.  Select your identity name
below or modify an identity, click Manage Identities.  

When running Outlook Express the little envelope sitting in my system tray
tells me I have new mail.
Only problem is I have no new mail.
This little problem just popped up about a month or so ago.

Whenever I load Outlook Express and hit the send and
recieve button, its starts the send and recieve, then as
it tries to download message 10 I get an error box which

What's causing this?

How do I make a message rule that stops emails with no sender and no subject
mentioned?
Also, most spam emails are not sent as text.  How can I put a stop to them?

that all posts and threads are in some kind of code or encrypted language. Is there an adjustment that I can make
