I am working on a machine that is not overly powerful. However, when I send short text emails they go through in a flash. When I send zipped pictures they seem to take ages and I get the message your pop mail server is not respond - wait or cancel. What can i do please?

I am running Outlook Express 6 under Windows 98 SE4. I have three identities loaded under Outlook Express. When I use one of the identities, it sends out e-mails saying that the e-mail is from Kiberly. It should be saying Kimberly.

As a newbie in this newsgroup, please excuse me if this question has been answered before. I recently upgraded IE5 on a Win 98 machine to IE5.5. In the process, Outlook express was also upgraded.

A large number of emails contain one line of data with an address in the form of ftp; each email is different. I want "get, copy, extract" these lines without reading the emails. Regards, Irv

Foolish as i am...i have compressed al of my email maps. Now i lost all my importend mail.... Is there any hope or sollusion to repair this stuppid action. Is there anyone who can help me with this mess

After downloading messages from the server to the mail client (outlook express), is there a way to send them back to the server? I have a shared account and now the other users can't read old messages. Thank you.

I have been trying to figure out how to back up my OE mail folders. I have thousands I need to keep. When I search my computer for .mbx files, I come up empty. I have done a hand search windows/applicationdata....... and don't have an application data file

I have two Hotmail accounts, both of which I run through OE. In the last three or four days, whenever I try to send e-mails from the one account via OE, I get an error message saying I am not logged onto that Hotmail account.

when i click on new mail, an error mesage comes up saying address book incorrectly installed try reinstalling. i cant reinstall because i dont have the setup file, ive looked in add/remove control panels its not there neither is the internet explorer 5 setup.
