My operating system is Windows 98.
When i print any message from outlook express 5.5, while the text is printed
entirely, the header containing the "From, To, Sent, and Subject"

I'm a new user of  windows 2000, and have been unable to open any email
messages, or reply or forward them. A window appears when I click on a
message saying "an error has occurred."  There's no "details" tab or any
other information provided as to why the message cant be opened. ...

My father inlaw asked if I could find answer for this problem he has!!!!
YES to most ques bout security, computer is very protected. Problem does NOT
seem to be virus related cos it does no harm except move emails.

My Inbox has 4 subfolders (one for each member of my family), each of which
then has other subfolders.

Is there an easy way to transfer email messages between 2 pc's both running
Outlook Express 6 without using a network connection?

When mail is received the message is opened just by highlighting it. I
double click to open attachment etc. How can I change it so the message is
not opened or changed to double clicking to open. I can not delete any mail
without it automatically opening first.

I recently updated my Win 98 SE system in windows update and a new
problem appeared.
I read messages but they are not marked as read.  I sometimes mark them
read and they appear next time as not read.

I lost my addressbook and imported a saved copy, but all the folders I had
people sorted into are gone. When I go to new I do not have the option
anymore to make a new folder, only group and contact
Any ideas how to get this back

I'm trying to help my dad he is running windows ME and gets the error message
" msimn has caused an error in comctl 32.dll and will now close " when he
tries to open outlook express Any help would be gratefully accepted

How an Email can be sent automatically using MSOutlook using Item.send command

When i click the icon for OE it opens but opens about 50 copies of the
application. How do i stop it from doing this?

I have created a group to broadcast a message.  In the group there were some
members with the same email address.  In every case only one member with the
same address got put into the outgoing message list.  Why is this and how
can I overcome it?  I am using OE6.

I have the message "MS Internet E has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." after an update this morning.
This happens more than half or the time that I get updates.  There follows
in dark type "Please tell MS about the Problem"  In the boxes ...

XP, OE 6 but I have not backed up my data in months (everyone can now shake
thier heads, smile and say "idiot" all at once  I deserve it).  My HD is not
totally toast, but it is dying and I may still be able to grab the .dbx
files and address book from that drive.

I recently had my computer hard drive backed up on a CD and then re-formated.
I can view the Outlook express folder on my CD but when I prompt my outllook
express program to import from the CD outlook directory it states "no
messages can be found in this folder or another ...
