I sort by sent except when I have watched content. I run IE5.5. When viewing
newsgroups on the MS server and in the middle of a 9000+ message group and
deep into a thread I am redirected to the top (as is sorted) of the group

Hi people
OE 6 is giving me problems already. I can post like I am doing now, and
send/receive emails normally. But, OE 6 keeps sending little widgets of
virus free software 5 minutes after I put my friends names in the to list so

How many message rules will OE hold? I had 52 rules in mine and now there
are only 20 there. Could they be somewhere else that I can retrieve them?

My company domain email was changed recently and everybody else seems to be
having their emails working well, I can receive emails but
no outgoing mails are succeeding. I get an error message:
An unknown error has occurred...   Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL):

I am running Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1123 under Windows 2000 Professional.
I have locale set to English (Australia) and keyboard set to US
International.  Outlook Express is set to send emails in plain text and its
International setting is Western Europe ISO.

clients computer will not send or recieve emails using either of these
programs. it is probably an incorrect setting somewhere as internet explorer
has no problems. any help would be appreciated

My daughter used my outbox to attempt to send a lot of pictures to someone.  
Although I have the "middle grade" of BellSouth DSL, the file is way too
large.  I have finally managed to get to work offline so that I can switch
identities so my son and husband can check their email.

OE 5 automatically allowed for a separate WAB for each user account on an XP
computer.   THis worked well, as my wife and I use the same machine, each
"logging in" to our own space.  Our space pointed to our unique documents,
separate email accounts and separate address books.

I recently updated from windows ME to XP. The Guide told me what files would
be lost so I backed those up. I had OE5 with many messages. I now have OE6
as a result of the upgrade. The messages are not there and I only found an
old .dbx backup. Did XP hide the message folders ...

Would you please help me in getting a 2-way sms and fax plug in for outlook
express at no cost for personal use?

We have a program that need to click a link to popup outlook email client by
pre-populating To, Subject fields.  it works fine with English. but not
chinese.

somehow the printer got all messed up while using OE.  got the printer
online and working again, in all programs but outlook express.  here the key
is dark and file-print is dark, and control p  doesn't work.  I cannot find
any oprions to check on.  any ideas?
