How do I back up email in outlook express?????

I've suddenly encountered a problem using the above to download. All goes
well until I find I've only ended up with 1 file from a whole series.

I would like to use my notebook's Outlook Express both online when connected
to the server at the office and when disconnected from the network at home.
I have my Outlook Express message store folder in my Home directory on the
server.

Outlook Express keeps DBX files for all folders and subscribed newsgroups.
It even has some files for newsgroups that are no longer subscribed to. Can
these be delete manually or do they go away on their own at some time?
Files are in "documents and settings/username/local ...

Whenever OE checks for mail or when I click send /recieve the status box
doesn't disapear I have to click hide or the X to get rid of it. Is there
something in options that I accidetally changed or what?

I know this must be a repeat repeat question how to do Automation in Outlook
Express.
I want to add a button on OE man window.
Can some one help me out to some resouce or document?

I am having some trouble with a message rule.  I want to send a reply to anyone
who sends an email over 1500KB.  It seems straightforward enough, but when I
send a *too big* mail to myself, I get the >1500KB mail itself and NOT the

I use comcast cable for my desktop. When I am traveling and using my laptop,
I have trouble sending emails. I can get all my emails through Outlook
express, but when I am in a hot spot with my wireless laptop, I can't send.
