I would like to use my notebook's Outlook Express both online when connected to the server at the office and when disconnected from the network at home. I have my Outlook Express message store folder in my Home directory on the server.

Outlook Express keeps DBX files for all folders and subscribed newsgroups. It even has some files for newsgroups that are no longer subscribed to. Can these be delete manually or do they go away on their own at some time? Files are in "documents and settings/username/local ...

Whenever OE checks for mail or when I click send /recieve the status box doesn't disapear I have to click hide or the X to get rid of it. Is there something in options that I accidetally changed or what?
