Hello power users of OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6,
When using the "SCAN TO E:MAIL" option of my EPSON PERFECTION 1250 scanner I
used to obtain the file name of the scanned document directly inserted the
"attached file" block of the "new message" window of OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6.

Everytime I send receive in oe from my hotmail account I get two copies of
each e-mail in my in box. Why and how do I stop it.

I am trying to compose an HTML message in OE 6. I have written the HTML code
and viewed it in IE and it looks the way I want it to. Then when I copy and
paste the HTML code into OE as the text of my new message all I see is the
HTML code. I cannot find the instructions on how to ...

is it possible to stop or delete a message that has been sent via OE 6.0 ?

I'm using OE6 under WinXP Home SP2 on a Dell I2500.
When I receive an email with an attachment that has a .jpg extension, I can
double-click the attachment directly and it will invoke my picture viewer.
Recently I received an email with an attachment that had a .pps extension,

WinXP Home; IE6; OE6
All of a sudden, all my incoming mail appears in the main screen as "read"
when in reality, I have not clicked on any of them. Is there a setting that
I need to change?

I have a number of instances in OE where my POP Server has been reset to
127.0.0.1 and couple of times the port is set to something like 3486.  I
reset all to default and correct the POP Server is changed to the correct
identity and all is OK for a while but then without ...

Is there any explanation as to why some e-mails that I know are composed and
sent do not appear in the folder "sent items"?

Suddenly the little yellow mail icon on the system tray has quit appearing.
Using OE 6.0/Win XP Pro.
How can I get it back? I have checked in the Option box but didn't find
anything there to turn it on/off.

I have three sub folders I have created and went into one of them to find
that all e-mails I had moved to those folders are missing, my three folders
now appear empty when I click on them.
