Using IE6 and WinXP Pro. When I download pics from the digital camera they

When someone sends me a Powerpoint attachment I can't open it without first,
dragging it to my desktop!  I get a File Association error telling me that
there isn't a program associated with the file, well that's not true!  I
don't have the full Powerpoint program on this ...

I have a problem accessing mail accounts using Outlook Express and IE.  When
I try to access any website or my mail on Hotmail, I get an error message
that says: You were denied access because: Access denied by access control
list

Obviously prefer them not to have admin accounts.
Have tried making the WAB file shared across the PC in case that is the
problem but am still getting error messages about address book failing to
load or OE not being installed properly.

1.    How do I find the folder location where my email messages reside?

Heres my problem.
I use OE6 on two computers. I have the same folders on each. One is a laptop
which I travel with and the other is my home PC. I have the same folders
with the exact same names on each.

2 simple questions
After "message compacting" has run and many of the folders in OE are now
empty, where have those messages gone to ?
Can OE "un-compact" those messages (ie make them readable again) ?

Wonder why the pictures ( gif/jpg) in the body msg disappear whenever I
forwarded to another party, i.e. the recipient will not able to  view the
pictures that forwarded from my OE 6..
I have tried sent with format of html and plain text but no joy.
