I'm using OE6 on Win 2000 and for some reason, unknown to me, OE6 chose to no longer be my default email program. I've tried Google and the rest to find the fault, ended up with naught. Maybe I cant see the wood for the trees!

Does anyone know if there is a way to make Outlook Express send control commands to an nntp server, e.g. in order to delete messages? Or does someone probably know any other nntp client supporting that feature? Thank you

I accidentally moved a folder into the Deleted Items folder while doing some cleanup and then deleted everything in the Deleted Items folder. Is there a way to recover that folder or the items that were in the folder? Thanks

I use OE and overall really like it but on my comcast email acct i am getting stacks of daily gibberish text emails with what appears to be some sort of visual (maybe graphic vs text) but it is text for prescription drugs like Cialis and Xantax etc, ok I know enough about OE to go ...

WindowsXP Pro Sp2 OE6 Until a couple of days ago, images in OE newsgroups would download almost immediately. A 1 meg post would open on the screen in 5 seconds. For some reason it now takes 19 seconds for a 35kb image. I have used Adaware, Spybot

My address book/contacts used to always be listed right under my folders on the left ... now it's disappeared (although I can still access my e-mail addresses by clicking on "Addresses" in my title bar. How do I get them back in the lower left panel when I open OE6? Thanks ...
