Outlook Express is by far the best e-Mail program, but sometimes I need
(prefer) to use Mozilla Thunderbird.
I have a list of Signatures with attached quotes in OE and would like to
transfer them to Thunderbird.

I just got my DSL hooked up this week and love it , BUT ,i don't like the
way my e-mail works.
I have Qwest DSL ,and use outlook express , and run windows XP .

Is there any possibility to announce the arrival of e-mail
when it lands in the Outlook Express (post client is

I have the entry ".ca" in my blocked senders list but a message came through
today that didn't go to the Deleted folder as expected.

OE on my system has a strange characteristic: it's slow to save multiple
small .jpgs. it saves one large file quickly. i've tried using the same
version of OE on another paritition on the same drive and it's much faster.
when i save on the slow version the disk light is only one ...

For the past weeks, there are many messages I put 'eyeglasses/red' for
easy reading.   Those are still sitting at the top of each
Newsgroup, such as I.E., O.E., and others, although I no longer need
those.

I would like to connect my PC's OExp to MSN hotmail servre and download the
mails of my account there to my local machine. Then does any know how to do
it?

I have an email account with hotmail and have set it inside OLE so that I
can send/receive emails through OLE easily. Now I would like to set up my
Gmail account inside OLE but when it checks for new emails it keeps asking
for my username and password but when I enter them the same ...

I have messages saved in an archive file and would not want to lose them in
case of a crash. Try as I might (clicked on everything) I can't find a "save
to" that will let me copy to a CD. Is this possible, and how would I do it?

After outlooh Express finish searching for my new messages and show the
result,  for example it said: you have 4 new messages, and when i go to look
for the 4, i only have half of the number of  messages to read.
I don't think any messages are missing, because i checked the inbox ...

hi, when sending an email i am getting the error message
0X.800C10131. What is this message. I am running windows ME and Outlook

Friends, today I was looking for a message I was sure I had. Looked
carefully in the folder where I expected to find it. I don't see it there.

in OE. I had exported OE to another computer, did some maintenance and then
imported everything back and all appeared OK. Two weeks later we notice a
folder is missing. No big deal because that whole file ...

is there a way to strip original text on reply without having to highlight
and scroll. thanks
