Often I get a message asking if I want to compact my email to save disk
space. if I select yes, it it my understanding the messages are saved as a
.dbx file
I have a problem when I try to open the dbx file,  how do I go about

Are hyperlinks disabled in email?
Whenever I click a hyperlink in an email I've received, it takes me to a
folder on my computer. It didn't use to be this way. Sure, I can copy and
paste, but that's not convenient, especially when I know the link is safe.

When ever I start OE, I get the message ... Your current security settings
prohibit running ActiveX on this page.... may not display correctly.
I must have inadvertently changed something.  Can someone help here please.

After many years with the same ISP, I have changed to NetZero and need to
set up OE as my default mail program (because NZ will not open its mail if I
click a link to an email address.)

the link to go to the site.  I have to copy the link and paste it into IE in

I have OE6 in an XP Home laptop and am connected via a home network to cable
broadband. All this works fine.

Hello Friends,
       I would like to bulk archive my OE  Inbox e-mails
on CD's to review and read on later date.
There is a mix of plain text e-mails & some with Pictures attachments.

I have a list of e-mail addresses that I need to import in OE for a
community project.  The addresses are addresses only, do not contain names
or any other contact information.  Is there a way I can import them so that
I can send the same e-mail to all at once?

I know Outlook has some very nice Calendar features and especially
reminders, etc. Is there anything similar in Express? What is the best way
to get the great functionality of the Outlook Express with a calendar?
I've tried configuring my Outlook to use multiple email accounts ...

I am currently using OEv6 on the Windows 98 Operating System.  I cannot
delete received emails from the Inbox and am usure as to why.  Please help me
