Can't reopen OE616 Mar 2006 16:59 GMT12
When I first bootup and goto OE6, everyting is fine. If I close OE and try
to reopen nothing happens,no error messages, nothing. I have to reboot. Any
ideas?

I can't reply to a newsgroup post. This just began suddenly about a week
ago. I have called my isp and verified all setup as correct. They feel it is
a microsoft problem. The error message states that the "header is not in
internet syntax" I know what that means, but have no idea ...

when my destop has been opened IE brower , I click the link on the email
content , it will overwrite existing brower , anyone can tell me how to
setup OE , it can open the new brower

Have new HP Pavilion W/WinXP Media OS.  Have imported OE accounts from
previous W98SE machine.  Resulted in having 3 folders for 3 accounts under
'Outlook Express' , 'Local Folders' (local ISP), #2 (MSN dialup) and #3

Using OE 6.00.2900.2180 on an XP Pro SP2 machine ...
Clicking on a link that is supposed to take you to a URL in Outlook Express
goes to the "Documents and Settings" User folder instead. The default
browser does not open. Doing this on an Outlook Email, however, works

I had to have my computer "upgraded".  I had Watched messages in several
newsgroups, and could CTRL+H to find others.  Now OE doesn't remember who I
was or what messages they were!  Is there any way to "remind" OE of who I
used to be?

backup as well as a file for transferring email from my laptop to my
desktop, I created a copy of my entire OE email files with the following

For the past few days, when I click a link in Outlook Express Internet
Explorer promptly opens but the URL is not transfered and nothing happens. I
have tried every solution I could think of, but so far no fix, Can anyone
provide a resolution to the problem?

This Windows XP PC has two different user accounts. One is admin, one is
limited. According to something I read, it's not good to be logged in as an
administrator all the time -- especially with a DSL or cable modem where
you're always connected.

My OUtlook Express 6.00.2600.000 does not have a BCC line and everyone is
getting mad at me for sending it CC. How do I add the BCC line? I have
searched the world over to no avail.
