I opened OE and my home business folder was gone! After an hour of looking for answers, I located the folder, but it's dimmed. Yes, dimmed....there, but not functional. I can't open it, import it, or punch it. I can't get it back into OE (V6.0)! HELP!

I realize that this must be the granddaddy of all OE plaints--but (w98se, ZA free, AVG) I have the ZA e-mail protection off, and the AVG e-mail scanner off. Normal connection is just fine--but if I go offline AND then cut the connection, when I later click the 'Send/Recieve' button ...

In view of the constant stream of enquiries about recovering data from damaged or corrupted dbx folders... Why is it that, if I can drag and drop e-mails from OE on to my desk top or into folders in MyDocuments for safe keeping outside OE, why then can't

I think I have a "ghost" in my machine. When I started Outlook Express the other day, I noticed that I suddenly had stationery applied to my e-mails. I did not select this option--it just appeard. I have virus protection and spyware

I haven't seen this error number. I have looked for a description or example of when I would get this. Does anyone have any idea of error code 0x800CCC06 - CONN_SEND?

Since installing Norton Internet Security 2006, when I start OE, AIM starts. I don't want AIM to start with OE. Everything is unchecked in msconfig and in the AIM preferences, but it is still starting and I cannot find out where it is getting the cmd from.

hi- how do i configure my mail accounts in OE (6) so that I can get mail downloaded whether I am @ home using dial up; or I am at work conneted using my wireless connection isp. whatever location i am at, every time i open OE, the error box pops up

I've got a situation in my outlook express. One of the topics in one of the newsgroups I take has turned red and there's a wee pair of glasses that have appeared beside that thread. The glasses are in a column beside the paperclip column that denotes attachments.

My hyperlinks in Outlook express are not responding. I've tried pressing the Alt key and the Ctrl key...neighed works. Any ideas??

I use Outlook Express with XP. When I download files in spreadsheet format, OE opens the file with Excell. I just want the download to proceed without opening the file. It used to work that way when I was using Win 95 but since I upgraded to XP it won't just do a simple ...
