Critical Folder missing03 Apr 2006 22:30 GMT12
I opened OE and my home business folder was gone!  After an hour of looking
for answers, I located the folder, but it's dimmed. Yes, dimmed....there, but
not functional.  I can't open it, import it, or punch it.  I can't get it
back into OE (V6.0)!  HELP!
SSL 10060, err 0x800ccc0e--only on DUN reconnect03 Apr 2006 20:36 GMT4
I realize that this must be the granddaddy of all OE plaints--but (w98se, ZA
free, AVG) I have the ZA e-mail protection off, and the AVG e-mail scanner
off.  Normal connection is just fine--but if I go offline AND then cut the
connection, when I later click the 'Send/Recieve' button ...
Why do local folders have to be dbxs?03 Apr 2006 19:33 GMT5
In view of the constant stream of enquiries about recovering data from
damaged or corrupted dbx folders...
Why is it that, if I can drag and drop e-mails from OE on to my desk top or
into folders in MyDocuments for safe keeping outside OE, why then can't
stationery just appears out of nowhere03 Apr 2006 15:12 GMT1
I think I have a "ghost" in my machine.
When I started Outlook Express the other day,  I noticed that I
suddenly had stationery applied to my e-mails.  I did not select this
option--it just appeard.  I have virus protection and spyware

Since installing Norton Internet Security 2006, when I start OE, AIM starts.
I don't want AIM to start with OE. Everything is unchecked in msconfig and

it is getting the cmd from.

a wee pair of glasses02 Apr 2006 14:53 GMT6
I've got a situation in my outlook express. One of the topics in one of the
newsgroups I take has turned red and there's a wee pair of glasses that have
appeared beside that thread. The glasses are in a column beside the
paperclip column that denotes attachments.

previous message?
Can Outlook Express read/send hotmail?02 Apr 2006 02:54 GMT1

OE opens the file with Excell.  I just want the download to proceed without
opening the file.  It used to work that way when I was using Win 95 but
since I upgraded to XP it won't just do a simple ...
