I reset the Update thing to download and notify me instead of just applying
the Update without my permission.  Today MS sent "Cumulative Security Update
for Outlook Express for Windows XP (KB911567)".  I think this is the same
malicious garbage that screwed up my OE Address Book ...

I have both AIM (AOL Instant Messaging) and Skype installed.
When ever I open OE, it starts AIM, even though I have DESELECTED the
"automatically log on to AOL Instant Messenger" option on the General tab of
OE's Options dialog.

Also I forgot to mention that I tried to download IE7b but I don't think
the download worked because I can't locate it on my computer.

What is the purpose of multiple identities?

Hi, I have many years worth of deleted mails in the numerous dbx files.
I would like to delete these fully.
However I would also like to keep the mails I have saved to personal
folders.

I've been getting a lot of "Undelivered mail" to my inbox.These are spam
messages that I haven't sent. Is it possible that my machine is relaying
spam messages ?

I've subscribed to the same newsgroups for several years, never a

I am having a repeating problem with the incoming mail server for my POP3.
I set it to our correct POP3 server and every time Windows updates my system
it gets switched from the POP3 server to 127.0.0.1.
Of course I can switch it back manually or stop the automatic updates, but
