I have encountered a strange behaviour which started some time ago. The "collapsing process" of threads in OE Newsgroups is very jerky. Collapsing of threads used to be much quicker (almost instantaneously) and smoother.

I've taken my OE mail from a few PC's and put them all on my current PC. The folders have names like {AC3C8222-C3C8D2A2D29F} - can I rename them to names like Work, HOME, Hobbies ? If so, to avoid errors, do I first: go into Windows explorer and copy those folders elsewhere,

When I send a message in Hebrew, using my default "send" enconding (Hebrew), the Subject line is sent as gibberish. The message text is OK. Same when I open a message encoded in Hebrew, but here the Subject Line appears as a string of interrogation marks. ??????? ???? ????

In WinXP, Outlook express 6 When I try to REPLY to any message, including plain text message without an attachment. I get the ERROR MESSAGE: "There is an error opening this message. An error has occured."

When viewing messages in OE, the contents of the message is automatically copied to the clipboard. I don't recall this issue in previous versions of OE. I have the latest updated version. Anyone else having this problem? Any workaround?

Have had some issues with Outlook recently including a corrupted Address Book and the inability to edit eml files. Narrowed this down to a recent update. To make sure used a Ghost image of the OS to go back before the update and all is fine until I install this

Does folders.dbx just track the folders, or its contents too ? I just noticed in my identites folder that the FOLDERS.DBX file is 2.1gb and not much in any other folder. Might it be lots of old newsgroup info that I purged from the individual folders while online ?

Recently after downloading updates from HP, and Windows my e-mail spelling check feature was disabled. I have been told by hp to remove and then download certian items but thought this was much more of a chore than nessary. What should be done for this problem? Thankx fchris

Where are my contacts that I have added to OE saved on my harddrive? I have a Windows 98 computer that has packed up. I have taken the HD from the system and would like to recover some of my data including the contact email address.

In late Feb 06 I deleted messages from my sent file and then from the deleted file. Is there any way to recover those messages that I sent and recieved? If so, is the process for recovering them the same for Outlook and Outlook Express? Thanks.
