When opening or printing a sent message, OE displays current date in place
of sending date.
This ocurrs in OE+W2K, meanwhile in OE+WXP works right.
Any idea? Is this error fixed?

Just as of today, when I try to send a message, I get a program erro with
msimn.exe and have to restart the program.
Any suggestions?

I'm having weird issues with Outlook 5.0. When I try to compact the deleted
folder I get error message that there is not enough space (File: Deleted
Items.dbx, Error:0x800C013C). I've been keeping it relatively empty, but
haven't been able to compact for some time.

this is gonna sound real weak, but i am getting notified when someone has
replied to my question (unable to open .eml attachments in Outlook Exprss 6)
however, i can not find the replies. ok, so i'm not a high hi-tech !

I recently had to reload my programs and had all my previous emails saved in
other drive, followed my carriers advice on how to reset OE and on import
option was by-passed and saved emails where replaced with new messages. How
can I retreive them please?

I have security set so incoming pictures are stopped from opening.  But I am
finding that gifs make it through.
How do I apply the same rules for gifs that are in place for jpegs?

Hello every body
When I save a thread from one of the news groups to my local inbox of the
computer it is saved as individual messages rather than the typical (+)
style in OE newsgroups (sorry, do not know the name for this thing)

My inbox says its full, but only has  a dozen messages in it, can i change
the settings on it to hold more?

Can anyone help?   I am switching from an old Win98 computer running MSOE
5.00.2615.200 to a nice new WinXP SP2 computer running MSOE 6.00.2900.2180.

Long time lurker here. I have used most email clients, free and paid, over
many years, and have come to the conclusion that OE is just about the best
around for basic servicability. Just a comment or two. Thunderbird is

to the 'trash' bin. How can I change the user's security/name so that any
emails that are sent to me will get placed in my normal inbox?
