Used to open up browser and go to links just fine....now nada.  Mouse turns
to hand ok and links for email open up the new message window ok.   Send and
receive ok.....just no links to web will work.  They work fine in Outlook,
just not Express.  Running XP Pro, Office XP, ...

I have an address book which contains a group consisting of 30 email
addresses.  This group is named Group1.  I have another address book
which contains a group consisting of 49 email addresses.  This group
is named Group2.   I have another address book which contains a group

I had to switch to Outlook 2003 for email.  OK, I configured outlook so that
OE shows up when clicking on NEWS in the outlook tool bar.
I see my posts go into the outbox in "local folders" and then disappear as
normal. The posts do show up in the news account as is expected.

I have OE6 and I only use it for the newsgroups.
However, recently its letting me on for about 20 mins or so and then just
frezzing so i have to Ctrl-Alt-Del out of it.

We use windows 2000 advanced running exchange 2000 locally. Often a mailbox
has thousands of email in it waiting to be downloaded. When the user use
outlook express 6 (on xp service pack 2) to download, after a long time
waiting for the software to authenticate (authorizing...) ...

where can i get a list of newsgroups to join?
i am with aol but they stopped ages ago

I have a new hard disk (Drive C) and wish to copy my Messages, Folders,
Message Rule & Address book from my old hard disk (Drive E) all to a
different location on Drive C.
I have been able to get the folders over but no longer have message rules.

I would like to have the Outlook Express (ver 6) store folders for email and
newsgroups in different locations.  Anyone know a way to accomplish this?

I have just purchased a new laptop computer.  My old (Microsoft ME) computer
has my Outlook Express email address books on it.  I have tried copying and
then importing a WAB copy of the various address books, but the new laptop
says it can't open them because they are "locked by ...

I haven't tried turning off tabbed-browsing to see if that will change
things.
Ideas ?

I've got two "accounts" on my windows xp.  One for myself that works fine
and one for my wife,  which used to work just fine.  I moved over to Comcast
high speed internet and when I try to send under HER "account" I get the
following error message....

I'm using Outlook Express.  Sometimes I get email messages with attachments.
When I click on the attachment I can't open it even though it is an "Outlook
Express Mail Message."  What do I do?

I'm trying to use the portmon port monitor (sysinternals.com).
When I fire it up and ask it to connect to Serial Com 1, I get an
error message that it "may be busy" and cannot be set for

Outlook express 6, my mail pop3 server address
keeps changing itself to 127.0.0.0
I have to correct it every day, how can i fix it?
