When I try to use my e-mail I get the message from Mozilla Thunderbird
"sending the password did not succeed.  eircom.net responded. authorisation
failed".
I tried Thunderbird  because OE did not work for me since an update in May

As of late I see the paperclip (attachment icon) on every email that I get.
When I click on it I see the email itself.  Not sure what settings I changed
to make OE do this, but I am probably guilty of goofing something up.  Any
help would be appreciated.

If I am NOT online and double click the OE6 shortcut it will not dial up and
connect to my ISP (as used to happen when I had Windows 98).  If I first
connect to the Internet and then open OE6 everything is fine.  Is there a

I am using OE 6, with Win XP SP2.  I send out a rich text letter every night
that has embedded sound files in it.  wav format works best but occasionally
the clip I want to send out is in MP3 format.  I embed the sound file using
the Format/Background/Sound command.

I can't seem to remove a newsgroup from OE.  I right-click and select remove.  I get the confirmation box; however, the newsgroup is still in the folders list.  I have checked the store and can't find any references to that newsgroup.

I am trying to set up OE6, but it won't allow me to send the email.  It tries, and then comes up with this error message:
