I believe I have read that if you open a SPAM email, there are several
ways that the sender can verify or "get" your email address.  A few
questions:

My Outlook Express will double space in the middle of an email that I am
typing for no reason and I cannot put it back to single space. My emails are
ugly and unprofessional.

I continue to be plagued with the problem that e-mails from the .biz domain
(exclusively spam!) cause OE to self-close with the usual window, "Sorry, but
Outlook Express has to close, etc."  I am able to look at these messages
