Are there any suggestions to minimizing folders in OE6.0, or storing them some where else? By this I mean that I have allowed the number of folders to grow and grow, along with sub-folders, as I occasionally refer to these emails.

I downloaded an *.mp3 file in a newsgroup. All-knowing OE (I have version 6.00.2800.1123) denied me access to the attachment. It also insists on this with *.pdf files too, but will allow me to open *.mp*g, *.avi and *.wmv files. Anyone out there in Vacuumland know how I might ...

Even though I tried and then uninstalled Spam Alarm for Outlook Express new mail messages continue to display "This mailbox is being.... by Spam Alarm as you can see. I went into the registry and removed all references to Spam

Group, we run V6 OE with broadband internet service and OE will crash. A pop-up will appear that says OE has encountered a problem and needs to close. Any thoughts on what causes OE to crash? Thanks. Norm

for some reason I have managed to create two identical default accounts in o/e, when I try to delete one of them it deletes ok but when I restart o/e there iy is back again, any ideas on how I can remove this rouge account ?.

When I upgraded Windows XP to SP1 (or SP1a I cannot remember) - I had to apply the cumulative update kb331923 so that Identity switching occurred correctly - which I am glad to say did fix the problem. However, I have now wiped the machine and have gone directly to WinXP SP2.
