When I use a "find message" on a big OE folder (I have some folders that are
500 MB+ and 50K+ messages) the system occasionally reports when I try to open
a message from the search results
"Message could not be displayed

My Question is:
I become some Mails, read them und then i close OutlookExpress. When i open
Outlook Express again, the mails are deleted (not in the Incoming folder).

I have a similar problem to a previous poster.  I bought a new computer and
got my email set up.  I get an email with a URL and try clicking on it.  I
get a noise from the computer and then nothing.  I am not using IE7.  My
Explorer is 6.0.2900 (plus a lot); my Firefox is 1.5.0.7; ...

I created a new stationery template using the Stationery Wizard.  I didn't
like what I got and want to delete it, but can't find instructions on how to
do so?  If anyone can tell me how to do this or where to find the
instructions I would appreciate it.

This is happening even after I set each of my 3 e-mail accounts password's. I
go into the "properties" area of each then hit the "servers" taband type in
the password. I hit the remember password button and then apply and ok. I go
back and click on the properties of the account ...

I need to move the address book & messages for two identities from my old
computer (OE) to my new one (Outlook 2003).  I have been to the backup &
restore site (insideoutlookexpress.com/backup/simple.htm), did all that I was
supposed to and cannot import any of the files into ...

from May 26, 2006 to the present.  HELP .. is this stored ..anywhere?  I
have compacted folders many times and this has NEVER happened!

Got a call from a friend of mine who asked me what to do. All messages
seem to have disappeared from the Inbox. Sent messages are still there.
I have never used OE before (only MS Outlook), so I wouldn't know where
to begin to look. (system seems to be OE6 on WinXP).

I recently installed MS Office on my laptop and want to use Outlook - when I
opened Outlook - it asked if I wanted to import my data and I said yes - but
it did not work.
Is there a way I can copy my address book and mail from Express to Outlook?

I have three active computers running OE with the same identity.  Is it
possible to merge Address books (as opposed t replace) - same for saved
messages.

I'm using Outlook Express 6 and I save messages I want to keep in folders I
create in "Local Folders."  I got a new computer and I would like to copy
the saved messages in these local folders to my new hard drive.
I copied the *.dbx files from the hard drive of my old computer ...

after updating and then and then removing Service pack 2. ( now using XP home
, sp1) because of below problem which still persists:
When I open Outlook express it says there is no identity BUT lists muy
identity in teh box below.

when i clik any url on my emails, it doesnt open the same in browser. Rather
it opens the following of Windows explorer "E:\Documents and
Settings\admin".........
E: is where my windows is set up.

I have several family email accounts.  on one I cannot receive email from
anyone other than myself.  e.g., I have successfully sent emails from home
