A friend has a computer with the French version of XP (SP2)
installed, with Internet Explorer 6.  Of course, Outlook
Express is in French also.  I know that XP can't be changed
to English unless you install an English version of the OS.

I use Outlook Express as my newsreader and sometimes download, combine, and
save multiple files.  If the files have attachments, sometimes in multiple
parts,  I highlight the files to be combined, and select
Message > Combine and decode...

Spammers will often pepper these newsgroups with their garbage.  Is there a
way with OE6 to perform a Find/Delete across all NG?  Or do I have to go
into each subscribed group and delete?

There are three accounts on this pc, and when I click on creat mail I get an
error message (there was an error opening this message, an error has
occurred), in only one account, the other two are ok. The server settings
are good. Can someone help?

I have created a "SPAM" folder where message rule send any inbox item where
subject contains "SPAM".
When I select all items in this folder and hit delete the listing becomes
blank YET in the folder listing this folder appears with (1) unread msg.

After installing IE7 I had to first find out how to access News Groups since
this option has been removed from the menu.
I added "news:///" to my favorite links - it opens Outlook Express news
reader. It seems to work.

I've just noticed that when I delete a message, it disappears completely,
rather than going to the deleted message folder. I can't find a preference
setting that is causing this.. what am I missing

Is it possible to suspend or eliminate Outlook Express from checking for
hyperlinks within email messages?
I use O.E for newsgroup reading where some of the messages and posted file
downloads need to be save in text format.  When this happens, O.E. begins

For some reason I can't open files with this extension.
I've tried Win Media, Int Explorer, Nero, etc. and I can't get them open.

   Just recently any document that I print from Outlook Express is left
justified and the first few letters are cut off. I tried re-installing the
printer driver and even printer to another printer, I got the same results.
If I print from a Word document it prints perfectly.

I would like to embed a font in emails sent by Outlook Express.
