Looking at my OE emails, from about halfway down the folder list within
OE, all the emails prior to 3rd November have gone. All the emials in

Recently installed another computer and in Outlook Express, the icons on the
toolbar are not highlighted. I went to the layout screen then to customize
the layout,, selected the icons I wanted, such as print, create mail, delete,
send & receive, forward, etc.,closed the screen ...

I have to delete files on my computer (and that includes emails) - can
some one advise me how I can downlaod or save all my emails - received,
sent, all the folders, etc to a disk? I need to be able to open all
thse emails on another computer.

I'm running XP for Home SP2, Outlook Express 6.0  
I recently started having a problem switching from one identity to another
in OE.  When I switch, OE closes and I can't restart it without restarting my
computer.  The only thing that has changed is I downloaded IE 7.0  around ...

Can compacting be turned off in WinXP defrag so Outlook Express
does not have to compacted?

After playing a game on my PC I realised I had left OE running in the
background connected to the Internet. Now, whenever I start OE it appears to
start minimised, it shows on the Task Bar, but attempting to maximise it does

My Outlook 2003 keeps shutting down, it will tell me that it needs to shut
down and you can tick a box for it to restart. So it shuts down then opens

I want to stop AIM from running when starting Outlook. That option should be
under preferences but, there is no preference tab.

Is there a way to password protect or at least hide the message list for
received messages? I have a user who lets others use their machine and is
afraid that someone will open OE and be able to access the messages on the
machine.

Some weeks ago I had a problem installing some software. Maybe its
coincidental but ever since then I have been unable to send any mail from
Outlook Express when the file size is more than approx 100k.
