For the past 3 days my Outlook Express 6.0 has been trying to receive about
67 messages.  Each time it receives 3 and it is the same 3 I received 3 days
ago and then it just stops receiving.  The dialog box shows "receiving 3 of
67" and hangs up there.  No more messages are ...

how to use message rules - email to detect some words or links from the

i am getting some spam emails and the spam is in the text/html part of the
emails including an image  in  Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

I added an account to Outlook Express to test a customer's email account (we
control the email server), "Leaving a copy of the message on server".
Once I had made sure the account was working correctly I removed the
account.

Every once in a while but more often at the moment outlook express will
download messages from my partners Hotmail account into my Hotmail account
and vice versa, it has to download a few thousand emails from the wrong
account into my inbox before it will then re-download my ...

I recently noticed a deterioration in the performance of OE 6 and I don't
reacall making any significant changes to the configuration of OE or my
computer prior to this happening.  The first thing I noticed is that it
takes ages to switch between identities - at least 15 seconds, ...

Can anybody please tell me why all of a sudden all of my emails are showing
the attachment sign although there no attachments in the messages. I have
looked in the options menu but cant find the solution.

I'm pretty new to all of this but I'm trying    Is there away I can have my
mail goto outlook and use it to send mail? I have MSN hotmail?

I prefer a larger font to work with in OE and have my message viewing font
set reasonably large. Is it possible to alter the size of the font in the
message list and folder windows, or is that hard coded? Using OE 6 with
Windows 2000. Thanks.

Every time I open OE it comes up with no new messages, but I know that I
have lots of messages on the inbox, what can I do to  have the messages to
appear straight away.

All income attachments cannot be opened. OE (Outlook Express) is
automatically removing access to the attachments. How do I make changes to
prevent this from happenning? Anyone?

I've added Windows Media Player, and i paste the link (to the web site
similar to YouTube) where the file is uploaded, the Automatically
start...when people visit my space is ticked. Display mode invisible.

On the left, in the Folders window, under the list of newsgroups I
subscribed to, one of them, Microsoft.public.flight sim is in red font, all
of the others are black. When I open the newsgroup, 2 postings are red, the
others black.  Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks

Auto-disconnect box pops up asking if I want to disconnect. Same thing
happens if I have both open and close one of them. I know there's an OE
