In OE6, I would like to move a single message folder (and its contents) from
my home desktop computer to OE6 on my laptop computer.
How might one do this?

When compacting folders in OE the program hangs up and stops on my sent file
folder and states that the folder is in use and cannot compact. What do I

Every time I open Outlook Express Internet Explorer also opens.  It also does
not open to my home page, but to the HP Club home page.  If I open IE by
itself it does open to my home page.

Sometime since last night, we lost all messages in our mailboxes.  No
settings were changed to our knowledge.  The only thing major that I know
about is the uninstallment of Google Desktop.  Any suggestions as to

We have two identities on one computer and I would like to make a Desktop
shortcut to open OE in an identity other than the Default one. Is there some
sort of command-line that I can use to open in the other idendity.  It gets
old having to open in the Default and then Switch to ...

After installing IE7 I have the following problem:
In Outlokk Express when I click on a LINK it does not take me to IE7. I have
to copy and paste the address.

when i send an email i get a message saying "some errors occured while
processing the resquested tasks. Please review the list of errors" but there
are no errors and the email is sent regardless. My problem is I have no
record of the email being sent and i have to close (or stop) ...

In binary newsgroups a group of rar movie files will sometimes come up with
just the word "NULL" instead of the many lines that make up the file.  The
Subject line will also read "NULL" in the preview pane header.  What's going
on with that and is there a setting to change to fix ...

I used my phone to retrieve emails whilst out, and when I got home OE
wont download those emails now, even though they're still on the server.
how do I fix this with OE? I use "EResQ 1.3.exe" to find them still on
the server.

Can anyone explain to me how I can backup email accounts in Outlook Express?
