when I send an e-mail the recipicent is getting a large number of the same
e-mails and it's all mixed up with letters, numbers and unreadable.

Not sure if this is just a small issue, or whether I have a bug in OE, but

On our other XP 'puter there are some e-mails in the sent items folder with
attachments.
These attachments are an >.exe extension and windows is blocking access to
them.

I have had to set up a new user account with Windows XP; then, go into

I suspect a registry issue but, I don't really know what the problem is or

After years of trouble-free operation, Remote Assistance has stopped
recognizing OE.
- I did run regsvr32 "%programfiles%\Outlook Express\msoe.dll" - no change.
- I verified that this is the correct location for msoe.dll.

When I try to export my address book as a text file (comma separated value)
I get "error exporting address book".  I go to the Outlook Express Address
Book, file, export, other address book, text file, hit the export button,
browse to desktop and give it a name.  Then I hit save, ...

I use OE 6 in outlook Newsreader mode. When I post a message to any group on
this server (msnews.microsoft.com) there is a delay of anything between 10
seconds and 60 seconds in the message actually leaving the Outbox. I have
compacted folders, and deleted the Outbox with OE ...

I have used Outlook Express 6 for quite some time.
On E-Mails: Way up in the far upper left corner, were the three "boxes"
   (1)    Close   (2)    Minimize    (3)    close but keep "Open"

I'm using Vista Windows Mail for a couple of IMAP accounts.  Using OE or
Outlook, it shows the deleted messages with lines.  The Windows mail client
doesn't show deleted messages.  I looked on the server, messages are still
in the inbox.  Can this be changed so Windows mail shows ...
