How can I change the default setting for Inserting file so that it provides
me the 'detailed view' without need to selecting it every time I insert a
file ?

No attachments to emails will open when I click on the attachment in outlook
express or my outlook either one.  If I use Mozilla Thunderbird, it opens
them without any problem.  These are simple .eml files with pictures or
text. Never had the problem till a few weeks ago.

How can I get the curser to default at the top of a reply instead of the
bottom?

After standby or hibernation mode my OE does not respond. (Also IE does not
respond.) Must restart. There are two users on the PC. Only one side fails
to respond. Other side works fine after standby or hibernation..
