Buying new laptop and want to transfer my emails to it. Can someone advise me how to do this - where does OE keep them? And can the same directory structure be seen as in OE? (Dont want all the directories transfered) Thanks for any help

For some reason now when I star Outlook Express, after staring, my computer I get a message in the preview pane saying that Outlook Express didn't shutdown properly and might have been while viewing the current message. Also says to click here to view

I am unable to download workgroups from "workgroups.comcast.net". The program prompts for "user name" and "password", starts download; then Prompts again. Any help would be appreciated.

Running OE6 When you select File>Save As the default filename is the Subject line of the message. Is there ANY WAY to change the default filename to be anything else? e.g.

Hi, I am having trouble sending emails with attachments such as power point & small video's etc. I receive them ok but can not send them. I keep getting an error saying timed out. Thank you for any assistance.

I used windows xp pro before and now I installed new windows vista ultimate and noticed that there is no outlook express, instead there is windows mail. How can I convert outlook express files format to windows mail in vista ultimate.

This last week I have been able to save any graphic only as .bmp. In the past I used .jpg, .gif, and many more, but they have DISAPPEARED. Please, HELP ME!!!! Thanks

When doing a send/recieve, recieving error message but error box is blank. Sent email gets stuck in outbox, but sometimes is still being received mutliple times. No copy of the email is saved in my sent items.

Help! I just switched to a new broadband provider. Now when I try to send mail, I get a 'dial-up connection' pop-up menu that asks me to 'Select the service you want to connect to' with an additional 'Dialing attempt 1.' indication.

Is there a way that I can automatically have a picture attached to every email? I've tried to attach it as a signature, but OE tells me that it is not an acceptable signature format. I'd like to use .png format, as it seems to be the format that is the smallest with the best ...
