Well, OE is creating me files in my hard disk root, when OE beggins download my emails, create that files, the names of the files created looks like s2lc.???, first time i detect the problem, i delete more than 40,000 files, i open some of this files with notepad and are emails ...

I understand that the maximum size of .DBX file 2gig. I have a couple of questions on this: 1. I take it that under XP SP2, the "Compact in the background" option has been removed? Or, has this been done by a Hotfix for OE? Also, under XP

Using Windows mail in Vista I'm trying to import messages from saved dbx files of outlook express (i don't rememer the version ..) but i cannot see in the import window the files even if they exist and are stored there. I's all my old mail!!! Please could anyone help me?

Why is it that when I recieve email with pictures in it I get a small square box in the upper left corner of a lager box were the picture should be and the picture ends up at the botton of the page.
