I am currently running Office 97.  (I run it because it gives me the Shortcut

the mail & news accounts as well as all of the folders but I can't find
where the message rules are stored. Is there a databse of rules that I can
move to the new account?

I have been doing some "Spring cleaning," getting rid of unused email
accounts from OE.  My  problem is that I have been unable to delete an AIM
account.  (Two other AOL-related IMAP accounts were successfully deleted.)

After I reboot, I get sound in appropriate HTML emails.
After doing something like starting to forward a message
and then canceling it (I'm not sure what in particular),
and then going back to the same email, the sound is gone.

    I am running windows xp,ie 7.0,outlook express. I cannot e-mail
attachments,when I try outlook does not respond. I have followed all of the

Every so often someone sends us an email, usually with a picture, which
comes out with tiny, unreadable print when I print it.  I presume that's so
the picture will print.
But occasionally other "incomings" will print too small also.

I have about 20 mail folders that are all under a single OE identity
containing mail back to 1/2002 that I would like to keep and move from this
old computer to my new computer.
My OE identity of this computer is NOT on my new computer.  On that computer

I copied the .dbx files of the folder names I want to the target PC's

You know how Outlook Express every so often asks you if you want to compress
messages?
So far I've always said yes to this question and never had any problems.
To day it did the same and this time it left my inbox empty!

In general I read my mail at the office but sometimes I have to download my
messages @ home using a slow dialup connection.
Is the any way to filter what messages I want to download (BEFORE actually
downloading them): by date, or by size, or any other criteria ?
