If I switch from XP to Vista, how will I be able to open the saved email

After installing a Dlink wireless router, I find that I have lost all of the
system tray icons that used to populate that area of the Taskbar. For
example: the Shield for my anti-virus suite, the icon for sound, the icon
for my camera (exif launcher) and others.

Using WinXP SP2, OE6
I just had to do a format and reinstall, and have lost in the process a
method I had used to block any usenet messages in groups that I frequent,
that had also been posted in alt.usenet.kooks.

Hey All, i want to increase the number of time it takes IE before it
compresses.
By default it is set to 100 times, meaning after opening and closing OE6 100
times, it will prompt me to compact the messages.

I am running OE6 and IE7 on a Compaq PC with SP2 and latest updates.
I can print to my HP DeskJet printer using Word and other applications
without problems but when I print an E Mail in Outlook Express I get the
text of the E Mail preceded by HTML code on each line.
