I d like to setup my OE folder such that other users on my XP system can
read the mails in my OE folder.  But logging in my user logon will allow
writing and replying.
Right now, I have setup such that a backup software keeps copying my folder

I know this is a wild shot, but I was wondering whether there is _any_ way
to change just the preview pane color in OE.  I know I can change the
"window" color in Display > Appearance > Advanced, but that changes the
color of _all_ the windows in OE.  Is there any way to change ...

anybody knows how can i make an executable address book from outlook express
so that my users just click it to update their address book whenever i send
them the updated address book rather than importing it.

How do I see all the bcc addresses that I sent an email to?  I'm only
showing my own address in the "to" box and need to find the 20 or 25
bcc's for this (and other messages)?

Two diff comps both running xp and OE6
if an attachment is selected... a WARNING shows up.. not an error... the
email STAYS in the outbox but the email is sent...

I am told I have been sent several emails from one source over the past few
days but I have not received them. The sender is adament the email address is

I am using Outlook Express 6 on XP, however when I receive a new email I
don't get notified. I have gone to Tools|Options|General and selected 'Play
sound when new messages arrive' but this doesn't seem to make a difference.
What else do I need to do?

I have two computer's on the same network at my home. I would like to share

I have tried to instigate "insert signature" with no luck. I have followed
instructions from help.
I may not be saving my html file correctly. I did this inserting a jpg file
into FrontPage and saving.

My Daughter checked outlook express the other day, then logged off it.

When I send out an email with an attachment, extra attachments are
automatically added to the email.  These attachments are only visible if the
recipent of the email double clicks on the proper attachment.  I have noticed
that the other attachments are of jpg & gif picture files ...
