I've often seen advice from Microsoft MVPs on one or both of these
newsgroups that the email scanning facility of one's antivirus program
should be turned off, because it can cause problems in OE and does not serve
any useful purpose.

I am trying to find a way of extracting the From, To, Subject, Date  from
emails in Outlook express. I have seen some shareware tools and know I can
drag-and-drop the messages to a folder and then they become "eml" files that
can be read, but I cannot find a reliable way to parse ...

Hi, I'm new to these boards and am hoping someone can let me know if there is
a new fix for this problem.
I have e-mails sitting in my outbox which I cannot send (sending e-mails is

Tlhis is what has been  happening for about 5 days now.
I click on the send/receive button at the top
In  the bottom right hand corner the" send/receive status 50% and
envelope icon "pop up

I have Win2003 server, all updates downloaded, and IE7 installed
The problem is that OE can not login to the hotmail server, it keeps asking
for the username and password. It doesn't give me any errors it just keep
displaying the login dialog.

Currently I have Windows XP with all the service packs and I use a multiple
of languages (mainly Asian) in the operating system however the Default
setting is to "English Australian" for the oporating system.

I'm beginning to think I am hallucinating.
It seems to me that messages are automatically being placed in my out box.

If I try to delete part of a msg. The whole msg is deleted. If I try to cut a
part of the msg. and right click ... it olnly lets me copy. I can not cut or
delete in the msg area. The bar turns blue for highlighting  when I click in
the body of an email so therefore it should ...

When  I open outlook expres to se my mail, in the past there has always been  
3 columns labled "From" and then "subject" and "received". All of a sudden
the "from" column has disappeared and there is just "subjec" and "received"
showing. I tried putting the cursor on the boundry ...

Finding that I can't just drag a news thread into a mail window to attach
it, I investigate the combine and decode facility, but find that whether I
group or ungroup; sort sent up or down; or whatever, the order in the C&D
box is always last of a thread first, and it expects me ...

Everytime I send an email, an error box opens without any explanation of what
the specific error is. The email goes to the Outbox and gets sent
continuously everytime my email checks for new messages. I have to then
delete the email from my Outbox to stop this. And no copy ever ...

How can I allocate more drive space to Outlook so that I dont get bounced
messages from the 2 identities that I have set up.  I would really appreciate
any help that someone has to offer.
