TURN OFF COPYING WHEN COMPACTING?25 May 2007 23:20 GMT32
I use WinXP SP2 with IE7 and OE6.  When I compact files in OE, 'backups' are
created in the Recycle Bin.  But I always do a full backup of OE before I
compact -- so is there any way (eg, a Registry hack?) of turning off the
copying when compacting OE?

I have just recently received a load of email which claim to be undelivered
for a number of reasons.  i.e. the usermail box is full or the email address
is not valid.  They have been sent using my domain name obviously to
addresses they can't be delivered. I therefore get the ...

When I click send/receive OE starts the process of connecting and then I get
this Logon box come up with all my information in it and remember already

Will Outlook be more stable Outlook Express.25 May 2007 11:28 GMT6
Some years ago I was using Outlook and there was something
about it I didn't like, so I changed to OE. Now I can't remember
what I didn't like about Outlook. But if I were to change back
to Outlook should I get a more stable performance?

My friend is using Outlook Express and has received a message about her
message not being delivered due to "reason:  550 Denied by Policy".  What
does this mean and what must she do in order to get the email message sent to
the intended person?
The White List25 May 2007 02:43 GMT8
I understand Microsoft has its own Spam Filter to eradicate spam, but often
we also miss our essential emails as for some reason Microsoft wipes them
out too.
I am advised to put my essentials in a White List or something like that.

In OE 6.0 the items in my address book appear to conflict. Here's an example.
I have two separate addresses in my address book; one is julie12345@kjly. The
other is kjlyradio@kjly.com. When I try and send an e-mail to both address at
the same time, the "check name" window appears ...
