Using OE6 in Windows XP
When I try to send to a group I have created, if it turns out that there is
a problem with one or more individual emails in that group...the email for
the entire group hangs up in the Outbox. This seems to be a fairly recent

need to know if i can send an attachment that appears as an image to the
email client instead of just an attachment clip. is there something i'm
missing . i seem to be able to receive attachments as an image on my email
why cant they get the same?

I am using XP home edition and wonder if some users can use outlook while
others use outlook express on the same machine?

can use DBXpress to recover inbox emails but OE shows the folder MT and will
not download any new emails "unknown error" is listed as the error. Tried
RegCure & XPlite to no avail. Why can't I just repair my OE like I did in
Win98?

Not sure if this is the correct place for this question, but here goes.
Had the problem of not being able to open links posted by others within a
newsgroup message.
Saw several messages that suggested one check the options within the 'folder

When print the email from OE, the contents of the email will printed out of paper from the left margin and thus a character cannot be printed from the left hand side. There are no margin setting from OE as well as the printer driver. Any idea? Thanks in advance....

When I change my Inbox settings to download headers only, it doesn't show new
messages anymore, it just shows there are new messages and how many of them.
If I change back to download all messages, it works normally. Any ideas on
why this is happening?

I have recently upgraded with new base unit to W Vista home premium.
Formerly in outlook was able to edit my contacts/recipient lists into
various subgroups like sport, family, choir, overseas etc.
However in windows mail I cannot seem to see where that facility is. I

How do I change the default blue (how I wish Microsoft liked some other
color...they over use my least liked color all the time in every application
and in their OSes) for the quoted email address when replying to the sender?
Why isn't that just in black anyhow?

Am running oe6, ie7, xp pro, sp2.
New machine, 4 weeks old.  Every single e mail message shows a paperclip in
upper left beside name of sender whether or not there is an attachment or not.

I'm trying to restore some archived email messages, I follow these steps:
Step 1: Import messages from the backup folder
1.On the File menu, point to Import, and then click Messages.
2.In the Select an e-mail program to import from box, click Microsoft

I get a club newsletter via email which in the 'to:' says
Undisclosed-Recipient so I can't see everyones email address's. How do I hide
email address's when sending to multiple recipients.

Am I correct to assume that Windows Mail, when it is released, will only run
under Vista?

I have noticed that some names I have been used to entering in the to box
are not being recognised when I go to send.  They still appear in the
contacts list, but not in the list one gets when the button beside the box
is clicked.
