I was backing up some dbx files a few days ago and since then I've been

cannot see who it is sent to

I have Windows XP Home. I use Outlook Express as my email program. I have a
number of accounts set up in OE. I have checked the box that says to
"include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing." For a long time
it worked fine. But lately there is a problem.

I have a local mail folder with about 150 messages in it. I would like to, say, keep the
most recent 10 and backup the others, before deleting them from inside Outlook.
What is the best option ? Making a copy of the relevant "dbx" file or, as I read

I often hear other email clients being touted as being safer than OE
(Thunderbird, Opera, etc.).  OE may be as safe as *it* can be, but is there
anywhere a study showing it's safety compared to *other* email clients ?
