My pc failed and i had to replace recently all the data was copied to my new
pc
When i set up outlook express i had lost all my archived emails so having
searched the data found all my dbx files which i copied into my storage

I've read here about not being able to use spell check in OE 6 because it
isn't there well with mine spell check is there but the language is set for
french France and there's no option to put it back to English.
Any help with this is appreciated.

My outlook express is frustrating me! At first I thought the problem was that
I could not send messages to myself, but then one day when I had time to work
on the problem, all the sudden it started working again, and I could send

When I double click on a received message or new message instead of a window opening it goes directly to the taskbar and I cannot bring it back up. I can right click on it and then restore, but that is the only way it works. Any ideas?

Looking at Newgroups and hitting replies normally puts a ">" in front of the
text so the my responses can be easily seen.
But sometimes it doesn't do that.  I thought it was some setting on my
program and was starting to act up when it happened.  But it only happens on

I backed up my Identity  using OEBU from Majik and restored it to my HD . It
said that the Restore was successful. I checked my OE6 and they were not
there.
I found the address book *.wab under C:\Doc.... Appl....Addr   wab and

As I have trouble remembering the details of my e-mail contacts, and often
need to file them under more than one heading, I am having trouble with the
way Contacts are presented in the OE window, with respect to the Address
Book itself.

I did as instructed:
On Outlook Express toolbar;  click on  'Tools' -> 'Accounts' choose the
'Mail' Tab then click on 'Add',

Let's see if I can explain this.
In Internet Explorer, there is a function:  File > Send > Send Link.  If I'm
looking at a website that I want to send to someone, I click on File > Send
> Send Link and Outlook Express opens a blank e-mail with the link in the
