We have been having a problem with some OE clients from time to time.  When
the create a new message and hit the Send button, the New Message window
does not close but the message is sent and copied to the Sent Items folder.
If they hit the Send button again, another message is ...

A few year back I was able to keep ALL the posts in the newsgroups,
even the ones that were deleted on the server, I just got a "This
mesage cannot be downloaded".
However, when I open OE6 the messages older than 5 days or so are

I often find I want to have an address book properties sheet open while I am
working on something else.  Trouble is, AB won't let you go until you close
it.  B' silly if you ask me!

My ISP had me change some settings in Outlook Express 6 and now I'm getting
two of every e-mail. How do I correct this?

I know OE does not offer auto-reply but mine has begun sending an auto reply
to most originators of messages to my OE account.  It's an equivalent to the
"Out of office" toggle I used to use at work.
I have not constructed a message rule to send the auto-reply

My daughter emailed me and ask why she had to put a password in everytime
she opens express. I have no idea!  Anyone have a clue?

Lately whenever I change from viewing my newsgroup messages to my inbox I
get a message can not open folder and possible reason is because of low
memory or space, and the only way I can see my messages is by restarting my
computer.

I hope someone can shed some light on this. After compressing my outlook
express files all the icons of the folders in it have changed to a black
womans face?? Can someone explain why this happened and what I need to do to
return them to the std various icons it use to be.

When I create a new email the From field isn't visible in the message. I can
see To, Cc, Bcc and Subject but not From.
Does anyone know why?
