compressed e-mails30 Nov 2007 18:48 GMT3
What do you do if some of your emails have a "+" sign next to them because
Outlook Express has compressed some of them to save disc space? You have to
click on the "+" and then the e-mails appear. I don't like this because I
don't always know where these e-mails are or don't see ...

I've seen a lot of posts on this subject but unfortunately none of them have

still have access to all of the old files.  I have been able to move my OE
messages from the old hard drive to the new machine.

Reply setting problem29 Nov 2007 03:27 GMT4
I use Outlook Express 6 on Windows XP and also have Outlook 2003 installed.
Outlook IS NOT set up for e-mail.  All e-mail is done through OE.
I also use OE to read several newsgroups.  If I select REPLY GROUP -- it
pops up an OE window and I can reply without incident.
